UPDATES ON THE ROCK AND VINCE
By Bill Banks
On Tuesday afternoon, WWF.COM spoke with World Wrestling Federation officials concerning the physical status of Vince McMahon and The Rock following the events that transpired on Monday nights RAW telecast. During the show, both Vince and the Peoples Champ were taken to a local hospital following separate assaults by the Ministry.
According to officials, Vince experienced several cuts and bruises, as well as what is being termed as a "wrenched neck." In addition, he was said to be very shaken up emotionally based on the fact that his own son plotted to attack him. He was released from doctors care early Tuesday morning, and is still scheduled to fulfill his guest referee role at Sundays Pay-Per-View. How this injury will effect Vince during the bout is unknown at this point.
As far as The Rock, WWF.COM has learned that the Peoples Champ suffered a concussion and 16 stitches in his head as a result of Triple Hs actions. Couple this with his broken arm that was further punished during his match with the Undertaker, and The Rock is the leader of the walking wounded heading into Over The Edge. However, word is that the Brahma Bull is determined to still battle Hunter this Sunday on Pay-Per-View! For the latest on Vince and The Rock's conditions, tune in to the Federation programming Saturday and Sunday at 10 AM!
We invite you to go inside the Great One's mind! Re-live his horrifying experience!
